Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026
This policy explains how Termlo ("Termlo", "we", "us") handles personal information collected through termlo.site. Termlo is a privately held company founded in 2026 that builds school management software for private schools in Nigeria.
It covers visitors to this website and people who contact us. It does not cover pupil, guardian or staff data that a school stores in the Termlo platform. That data is handled under a separate written agreement with each school, in which the school decides why and how it is used and Termlo processes it on the school's behalf.
1. What we collect
- Early-access and contact forms: your name, email address, school or company name, school size, primary use case, enquiry category and the message you write.
- Email you send us: your address and anything you include.
- Basic technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider may log your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability.
This website does not set advertising cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or tracking scripts on it. The interactive demo uses fictional sample data and sends nothing about you anywhere.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange conversations about early access or pricing.
- To decide which schools to invite to a pilot.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell personal information and we do not use form submissions for advertising.
3. Legal basis
We process form data because you asked us to contact you (consent and steps taken at your request before an agreement), and to run and secure the site (legitimate interests). You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing us.
4. Who else handles it
We use service providers to run the site: a hosting provider to serve the website and receive form requests, and an email delivery provider to deliver your form submission to our inbox. They process data only to provide those services. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
5. International transfers
Our providers may process data on servers outside Nigeria. Where that happens we take steps to make sure the data remains protected in line with applicable law.
6. How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to respond and to follow up about the pilot or purchase you asked about. If a conversation does not continue, we delete the details. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
7. Security
Form submissions are sent over an encrypted connection. Access to our inbox is restricted to people at Termlo who need it. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 and other applicable law you may have the right to access your personal information, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to or restrict processing, withdraw consent, and complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission. To use any of these rights, email hello@termlo.site.
9. Children
This website is for school owners, administrators and staff. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect children's information through it.
10. Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the date above.
